Client: Peps

Scope: Brand design and campaign

Peps, a bold and peppery sauce brand, was preparing to enter the Nigerian market. The goal was to develop a compelling creative direction that captures the essence of the brand — fiery, vibrant, and unforgettable — while appealing to a youthful, trend-conscious audience. The brand required a cohesive rollout across digital and physical touchpoints.

To reflect Peps’ spicy nature in a memorable yet minimal style, a clean and modern visual identity centered around a custom-designed Peps icon and a distinctive cursive logotype was developed. The creative direction emphasized bold color contrasts, pepper-inspired motifs, and playful energy to convey the heat and attitude of the product.

A unifying concept was developed as the “Big Idea”:
“Turn Up the Heat” – capturing both the literal spice and the brand’s personality.

This idea was translated across multiple touchpoints:

  • A branded T-shirt featuring the Peps logo and a striking pepper illustration

  • A bold social media banner, optimized for engagement and resized into multiple ad formats (468×60, 728×90, 930×180, 970×90)

  • An out-of-home billboard, designed for instant roadside impact with punchy messaging and clean visuals

  • A dynamic motion graphic, combining sizzling sound design with animated visuals to excite viewers and introduce the product

The full creative suite included:

  • Peps logo and icon design

  • Social media banner + ad sizes

  • Billboard mockup design

  • Branded T-shirt visuals

  • Motion graphic showcasing product reveal and campaign theme

This approach ensured a consistent, spicy identity across all brand materials, creating an exciting and unified product launch for Peps.
